A friendly neighborhood game of baseball ends with a broken window and a decision to make. Will any of Spencers teammates help him take responsibility for the accident? Or will they abandon him to solve the problem on his own? The famous song That's What Friends Are For becomes the anthem for this message about Loyalty... Pass It On.
BOY 1: Nice going Spencer!
SPENCER: I can't believe we broke old man Hennessey's window.
BOY 2: Correction dude, you broke. I just threw the ball.
SPENCER: This is really bad! What are we going to do?
GROUP OF BOYS: We?
BOY 3: Go to the door and ask for the ball back.
SPENCER: Are you serious?
BOY 4: It's my ball Myrtlebeck!
SPENCER: I'm so dead.
BOY 1: I'd run away.
BOY 5: Yeah, to Uruguay.
BOY 6: Kiss your life goodbye. Sorry. Let's go.
GROUP OF BOYS: Bye. See ya. Remember me in your will.
SPENCER: Some friends you are!
MUSIC: Oh. Keep smiling, keep shining...
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure.
Whoa, that's what friends are for.
GIRL: Hi.
SPENCER: Hi.
GIRL: Tell him it was an accident and we can fix the window.
Come on. I'll come with you.
SUPER: Loyalty Pass It On
GIRL: You go first!

YOUR COMMENT
I can't tell you how much my neighborhood group of first graders is getting out of these videos. They LOVE them. Such a wonderful example of values for them to grapple with socially, emotionally, and personally as well as together as a group. Homeschool with a heart - Thanks to the work your foundation does to make these available. THANK YOU!

Awesome that is true loyalty from a true friend instead of these days when so called friends let you go down by yourself when they all get caught and the only person doing time is you and they all walk until it happens to them no one or nothing is worth doing time for just do the right thing from the beginning if you are a true loyal friend

Love the music in the “Homer” video. Can you tell me who performs that version of “That’s What Friends Are For” in the video? Would really love to know. Great arrangement! Thank you!

Wow... Loyalty is a part of friendship, as is trust. They are both fragile things, and they take time and perseverance to become stronger... :)
