I must remember that Humility is not humiliation. Humility shows my my important part and place i the Universe. Humiliation is degrading and makes one person greater than another in a way that tears away the dignity of that person. Humility creates a sense of self worth in that it gives something to fulfill the potential of and then grow beyond. Peace, Friends to You.

Humility is having a proper estimation of oneself.

Anonymous from From a plaque in Dr. Bob's office FEBRUARY 18, 2013
Humility "Perpetual quietness of heart. It is to have no trouble. It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore; to wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing done against me. "It is to be at rest when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised, it is to have a blessed home in myself where I can go in and shut the door and pray to my Father in secret and be at peace, as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around and about is seeming trouble. "

I always tell my daughter that the most important quality to find in a future spouse is that of humility. I believe everything positive and good comes from this one quality. People who posess humility have the world view that life is not about them. They tend to live outside themselves , quietly being, loving and giving, not trying to feed their own egoes but rather filled with self love which is shared with others .

Mandy Candy from California OCTOBER 13, 2011
Humility for me is a sense of acceptance and peace within yourself. Humbling yourself can be one of the most difficult things to do in life...but once practiced it can bring you a sense of peace you never felt before and can open yourself up to never ending possibilities.

Max S., LT from Seoul, Korea OCTOBER 2, 2011
Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.

Marie from U.S.A. SEPTEMBER 18, 2011
With humility, we hold the key to ruminat- ting over our own mistakes, we choose to accept humility challenged by others, and we decide to overcome by learning a new, Life lesson. We decide to persevere.

J.T. from MA AUGUST 7, 2011
Sorry to burst anybody's bubble, but this quote goes to Mr. Harry Truman, 33rd POTUS. However, I think that officially it should stay anonymous, as 'tis in the spirit of the quote.
