My mother always said, "Good manners make us nice to know." Simple, but so true.

When you cross directly in front of someone, blocking their way, when they are clearly searching for an item on a grocery or pharmacy shelf, please say, "Excuse me." I find that most people do not say this and I find it rude. I feel as if I am invisible. I always say, "Excuse me" when I need to block them, even for a second or two. Bring back good manners!
