While watching the pass it on commercial the similarity in her story matched my own with my 9 year old son. He is autistic spectrum as well. And he has no friends who are his peers. I am the only one that plays with him in the park. And it hurts so much. He offers to play with other children, but once they realize he's different, they become cruel. I relate to her story. He often cries, and asked me why he had no friends. I did my best to tell my 9 year old about the indifference's of the world. But I know he did not understand. I saw this commercial in hope that there is a program or help for my baby. I hope some one can give me a directive for help.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
