A few days ago my mom was talking about how much better it is to have documents. It then got me thinking how she got all of her papers and documents. My mom name was Yolanda and she moved into America when she was eighteen or seventeen. When she moved here to Utah it was like she was starting life over, see new things she hadn’t seen before.
The reason she came was because her brother and uncle already lived here. She wanted to find a job for then she could buy her own apartment. At first she didn’t find a job but she continued to look. When she found a job she had to clean an old hospital. This is where she met my dad. After a while of being here in America they returned to Mexico.
A few years later when she came back she decided to find a job she found one as a waitress at a place called coachmen’s. Later on she decided that she had to get her papers and documents. She thought about getting them because all of the things that were going on. My mom called lawyer, the lawyer heard the phone ring he\she picked up the phone and heard a women asking for help. “Hello?” The lawyer answered. “Yes I need your help?” My mom asked. “What may I help you with” replied the lawyer. “I need you to help me get my papers and documents” my mom replied. “Ok, but you need to be patient” the lawyer answered.
Finally I stopped think about how it is my mom got her papers. Just a few months ago she got her social security number and she was happy. My mom also got a paper so now she is a legal citizen and things have been going very well for us. Patience pays off in the end because you need to be patient to get what you want you can’t get everything in a hurry.
