Ever since I was a young child, I have always had a large frame. I was very hippy and tall as a teenager and continue to be so. For a long time, I struggled to fit in; tired to lose the weight but the weight never went. Some words used such as plus size were ok, some such as fat and wobbly followed by giggles were hurtful. But I have learnt not to let those get to me , I knew I could not trim my knees to make me shorter , I am a very tall girl. I love my hips now, I find clothes that fit well and enjoy just being myself. I do what I must to keep healthy but I am a curvy girl and I don’t mind being curvy. To all the curvy girls out there, you’re beautiful, love yourself. There many people who love you just as you are , spouse, family, your kids and close friends. Occasionally they will make one joke or another but don’t take it too seriously laugh along and you will be surprised how much easier it gets and if its offensive , I just say” that comments is offensive and I would appreciate if you kindly restrain from repeating it again to me or to anyone else”
Well, im loving myself and enjoying the love my husband, daughter and family continually show me as a curvy plus size girl.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
