One day at my new summer camp I was so excited to be their so I went to the camp on the first day wearing one of my most favorite outfits. So when I arrived everyone looked at me very funny and then after 10 seconds they started laughing at me and pointing at me and that made me feel horrible. Was their something wrong with my hair, my shoes, my clothes? In my head I felt like running home with tears running down my face until I remember my mom telling me it's always ok to be you and so I sunk that in my head and tried to make that work so whenever someone commented about how I looked I didn't care because I'm being me you should always be you no matter what.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
