I am a mother of two kids a 19year old son and a 14 year old daughter. My husband left me after almost 12 years of marriage. He was in a foreign country and married someone after serving a divorce paper to me.I have been emotionally abused as a wife and I tried hard to forgive him many times even if to the point that I knew he was having an affair with someone. It was so difficult at first but my faith in God and supportive friends who made me strong.Whenever I felt down I jsut looked at my kids while they are sleeping at night and I cried quietly.
That happened 9 years ago and I can say I overcame the trials I experienced because I did not give up instead I went back to school and became active in helping other people.I helped blind people who can't go to church alone.I taught yoga to mental patients. And most importantly,I focused my life to my kids and never showed them that I was so down.My faith in God kept me going.I cried to Him and I never felt this amazing strength like ever before especially when I have forgiven my husband after a long hard cry.I released to God and now I am happily married to my new found love.God gave him to me. He is in a wheelchair but he can support us with his perseverance. He loves his stepkids like his own. After the rain, my rainbow has shone.I thank God for everything and for my family and friends He sent to guide me to the right way.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
