My eight year old daughter was recently diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. We had to take her to a specialist that was located in a nearby city. It was all one way streets and we were totally lost and running out of time. We saw a mail carrier walking down the street so we asked him for directions, explaining why we were in the city. This wonderful man hopped into his mail truck and led us straight to the doctor's office. When we parked, he took out hands. As we formed a circle, my husband, my child, myself and this stranger, he prayed for our daughter and also for us to have the strength to cope. I will never forget this man who took time to show us the way but also took time to say a much needed prayer for my family.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
