An unusual blizzard hit our area of Oklahoma on Christmas Eve. We're not set up to clear the roads from a huge storm like that. A couple of weeks later there were many parking lots and side streets that were still icy. I pulled into a parking spot at a grocery store and my tires slid a bit on the ice. My bumper bumped the SUV in the next spot. It left a smudge on the bumper, and the owner was just coming back to his vehicle. I told him I had bumped his car. "I doubt you did much damage," he said. I showed him the smudge and he shrugged. "That's why we have bumpers. Don't worry about it." He promptly changed the subject to the weather forecast and soon wished me a good day. How could I help but have a good day when I bumped into such a generous, gracious man!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
