Carlos is an amazing young man, I raised him as my own and just recently told him I am not his birth mother. With help from counselors I was able to tell him, I feared the worse yet he turned and said " your my mom" the load I carried for so long was lifted, despite suffering from food allergies, constant stomache problems, my never ending medical issues and just trying to make it to another day Carlos has managed to keep his head up and let me know that we have eachother. He is the most respectful, caring, loving, kind, trustworthy. Young man I Know and I'm proud to call Carlos my son my hero. There is so much more to our story, we are trying to get to Connecticut from so Cali to live, please help get my hero and his dog to ct.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
