I'd like to introduce you to my grandma I call her nonna. Her name is Dolores and she is from Falconara,Italy.She came to the U.S when she was fourteen years old to have a better life. She went to beauty school and was a hairdresser for thirty years. When I was a baby,she had a brain tumor and they had to perform surgery. She lost her hearing in her left ear. She is a survivor and never gave up.
My nonna is my hero because she encourages me by wishing me luck every morning on my way to school. She also comes to my plays and productions,she even supports me when I read at mass. My nonna is my hero because supports.
