My hero died 21 years ago when I was 14 but his spirit and values live with me every day. The hero was my father - a man who taught me the value of living in the moment. My father lived everyday by laughing at life, by savoring the moments with his family and friends. He taught me not to take the little things too seriously, that life is too short, and that I will always be the luckiest person in the world for having an incredible father for the short time I had him.
