Bobby S

My hero is my husband who has been a soldier for eight years. He was in the Marines for four years and has been in the Army for the past four years. He has served two tours in Iraq. He was one of the first people to cross the border and is very proud of what he does. He is my hero because he is willing to leave me and our baby boy to go fight for people's freedom; to fight for people who don't even know he exists in this world. He is brave, loyal, courageous, dedicated, strong, and a great husband and soldier.

I liked this story because I want to have a great big family like Carol and babysit babies.

John M. from Swizerland JULY 17, 2008
Wonderful story, she's a woman with a great heart. Bless Grandma Carole and the other people like her on earth. I have a similar history being fostered by my grandma when my parents passed away when I was an infant. Really inspired me to follow stone-steps. Love it.

To "Grandma Carol": I am a friend of your Granddaughter and I've always admired her stories of you and your babies. I am especially touched by your story now that I have my own children and know what kind of dedication it takes to nurture and provide comfort to them. This billboard is clearly long overdue!

This story has truly touched my heart. I, like Granny, love babies. It takes a very special person to be able to care for little ones the way she does.

"Grandma Carol" is a true blessing in this world. I am blessed to have adopted one of Grandma Carol's little angels and her sister and am so very thankful that she gave my daughter the best possible start with true love and affection from Day l. We love her dearly and I am truly thankful to know such a beautiful woman. Heaps of Love to You Grandma Carol from Karli, Leah and her blessed parents.

Robin and Paul A. from Manteca, California USA DECEMBER 25, 2007
Carol isn't just a foster mom. When we adopted our oldest daughter "J", Carol adopted us. She is "Grandma" to all four of our children. She was our J's "first mom" for the first 20 months of J's life. What a blessing Carol is to our lives. We just love her so much. Carol attended J's high school graduation, even though we now live over an hour away. She sends birthday cards and Christmas cards yearly, not only to J now age 20, but to our other 3 children also. J now lives in Europe, but still keeps in contact with Carol, and visits Grandma when she is visiting back in the USA. Carol exemplifies the meaning of family and love. Thank you, Grandma Carol!

Sue B. from Washington, USA DECEMBER 9, 2007
Carol and I have been friends since 1970, when we met at a foster mother lunch. She is truly a wonderful woman. She is a very caring and loving grandma for all of her foster children. She has given so many a wonderful start in life. I am grateful and honored to call her my friend.

Jon C. from Brentwood, California USA NOVEMBER 27, 2007
Grandma Carol is like my Grandma and she is the most loving and caring person! I love her so much and hope more people can be like her I still see her all the time and still call her grandma! I love you!

Kris G. from Martinez, California USA NOVEMBER 25, 2007
Carol is indeed the foster parent many of us strive to be like. Being my mom's best friend, she helped take care of me when I got home from the hospital and this was before she became a foster parent. With her as my mentor, my husband and I became foster parents and then adoptive parents after our 3 birth children were grown. Carol is the best "Grandma" to all my kids and all "her" kids. She has always been my second mom and since my mom passed 12 years ago she has been the mom I go to and her house has always been my second home. We all feel very blessed to have her in our lives and hope to for many years to come. I love you.

Marie E. Ball from Pensacola, Florida USA NOVEMBER 24, 2007
Granny Carol is a very special angel. Her story is so inspiring. But the one that passed this story on to me is just as amazing and loving. She was very young when she lost one of her sisters and she took control and raised everyone of her sister's children. She loved each one and provided them with the best of everything. She is a special angel to all that know her so Granny Carol doesn't know she has inspired someone just by sharing her story. I love you and I pray blessings for you on the loving and giving spirit you share.

Kathleen J. from Richmond, California USA NOVEMBER 23, 2007
I know Carol personally, and am blessed with having one of "Grandma Carol's" babies; My daughter was her 93rd baby; and along with my beautiful daughter, we have a beautiful GRANDMA. As you see, when she cares for a baby, her love goes out to the families that adopts "her" babies. My daughter is now 3 years old and Grandma Carol is still in our lives and her love and wisdom for all of us is so important. We love her and are honored to have her in our life. BLESS YOU GRANDMA, we love you.

Your story gave me goosebumps and tears sweliing in my eyes. I love babies too and like Carol, I like taking care of them. Carol is one lucky Granny! Must be nice to have lots of little ones loving you and keeping you.

myra r. from san antonio, tx. JULY 26, 2007
what carol does is emotionally, physically, spiritually rewarding. it is a two way street, to her benefit as well as benefit to the vulnerable and needy infant. she is a lucky lady indeed.

Adele C from Scotland JULY 9, 2007
How I loved listening to this and how you touched my heart. There are tears in my eyes as I write this because of the love and care you gave to so many tiny souls that were looking for someone to hold them. Thank you, Carol.

She is a angel!!!!!!

Clotee L from Peoria Heights, IL MAY 12, 2007
Heartwarming is the word, love of caring is the substance, and more life is the result of Carol's strategic plan for the 'babies in (her) my business." Much more can be said, but her 'love of caring for babies' is her great contribution for human life.

Marie H. from Guam MAY 12, 2007
