It is frustrating when I realize I can't help as many people as I would like to. But after reading this quote, it is actually a better way to help one and one after one eventually everyone helps everyone, all get help.

The reason I like this quote is because it shows a lot of compassion and teamwork. If a group of people come together and work together productively, then they could help that person in need get the stuff that they were struggling for or need as simple as a fundraiser.

My mother would always tell me the first part ("We can't help everyone") because she would always see me trying to figure out someway that I can help others, and I would always respond with the remainder -- "but everyone can help someone".
